OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB: To ensure the smooth running of the treatment department, offering clients ultimate customer service

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure the effective day-to-day running of the spa department.

2. Ensure the sales floor is supervised at all times.

3. To motivate and encourage the team to reach their set sales and treatment target.

4. Ensure all billing is carried out accurately and on time.

5. Ensure all staff are following their individual schedules to accurate time. Prompt on the hour and the half hour.

6. Ensure the treatment allocation is fair for all staff meeting the business needs.

7. To allocate duties to staff with free time.

8. To ensure standard dress code is adhered to when handing out treatment schedules in morning.

9. Ensure all clients are aware of the procedure within the spa department and assist personally.

10. To use the special offers board to full potential to sell all remaining space for the day.

11. To monitor space for week and decide with Spa Manager on specials that can be authorised to increase utilisation and revenue.

12. To increase spa department revenue.

13. To motivate and encourage the promotion of treatment and retail sales.

14. To do a comprehensive check of the department before it opens and during the day, arranging for any necessary jobs to be completed.

15. Ensure that the shop floor is covered at all times, for lunch breaks, sickness, promotions, demos and holidays.

16. To carry out room audits every day to ensure high standards are carried through

17. To lead by example demonstrating the highest standard of professionalism at all times.

18. To deal with any first-aid situations and ensure a detailed report is written up in the accident book.

19. To deal with client complaints in a professional manner and write up any product or treatment reactions, making sure that the client reads and signs the form.

20. Be aware of Health and Safety issues and protocols and risk assessments for the whole department.

21. To undertake own admin duties as set out by Spa Manager.

22. To undertake any other reasonable duties as delegated by the Retail Director, Group Spa development Manager, Spa Manager and company owners.

We are looking for a Senior Spa Therapist to join our luxury Spa. Based over 2 floors, our Senior Therapists work under limited guidance in one of our exquisitely appointed treatment rooms. The Senior Spa Therapist is responsible for delivering exceptional treatments to guests of the spa, including VIPs, journalists, key clients and members in line with ESPA and Hotel brand standards, while maintaining the excellent 5* star client care, cleaning standards and grooming standards.

You will have a proven track record of service excellence in a spa environment. You will be fully ESPA trained. Your communication skills will be exceptional as will your ability to maintain and encourage the use of confidential records in relation to guest preferences to ensure delivery of an authentic service.

We are encouraging a diverse workforce however you will be required to have good levels of written and spoken English and be eligible to work in the UK. Fluency in a second language would be beneficial.

Previous beauty therapy experience is desirable, but not essential, while ESPA, Guinot, Elemis and MD Formulations experience is an advantage. Industry knowledge is preferable, although product training is provided.

This role is part time, working 1-2 shifts per week, which will include at least one weekend day plus occasional evenings & holiday cover.

Job Summary

Provide treatments to guests and members ensuring they are met in a professional, timely and efficient manner helping achieve the departments budget figures and standards.
